WE’RE BACK! REGISTER NOW

SBC is back for 2020-21, with an online competition and virtual mentorship. We’re ready to support young scientists from across Canada, whether you’re in class or at home. Innovation knows no boundaries!

TWO WAYS TO PARTICIPATE

SBC is open to both individual and group projects in all regions. Do you have an idea to explore and want to work with a friend? Show us your talents as a team, and take advantage of the same virtual mentorship opportunities!

VIRTUAL MENTORSHIP MADE EASY

We’re putting a new spin on research this year, giving you the tools to connect with a mentor online. Take advantage of our virtual mentorship toolbox, and work with a professional mentor from our cross-Canada bank of talented volunteers.

SBC FROM COAST-TO-COAST

Forget the lines on a map. SBC is open to students from coast-to-coast-to-coast. We’re proud to welcome students from the Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut to this year’s competition for the first time.
